Once an Independent Authorized Service Dealer inspects your machine, the Service Dealer will file a warranty claim should a manufacturing defect as detailed in the warranty statement be determined.
For service of battery powered equipment we recommend bringing all components (battery(s), charger and machine) to the Independent Authorized Service Dealer. The battery(s) will be inspected for voltage (measured with a digital volt ohm meter), charge and operation within the machine. As detailed in the manufacturer warranty; if the physical inspection by the Independent Authorized Service Dealer determines a manufacturing defect and the machine is within its warranty period, the repair is completed under warranty at no cost to the consumer. Transportation services as detailed in the machine warranty are not a repair and are the responsibility of the machine owner.
The manufacturer’s warranty is specifically to protect the consumer and to cover repairs that are determined to be a manufacturing defect by an independent authorized service dealer. (see Toro.com/locator).
Transportation of the machine to an independent authorized service dealer is not a warranty repair and therefore not a provided service under the warranty.
You may inquire with an independent authorized service dealer if they will pickup and/or deliver the machine, but there will likely be a fee for this service.
Engine specific warranty service is provided through the original engine Manufacturer i.e. Briggs & Stratton, Kohler, or Kawasaki.

*Independent Authorized Service Dealers are independent businesses and may request to be reimbursed for labor to conduct the mechanical inspection of the engine/battery and/or machine. The cost for inspection service is not covered by Toro's manufacturer's warranty if the determination by the independent authorized service dealer is that the repair is not due to a manufacturing defect. If the determination by the independent service dealer is that the repair is due to a manufacturing defect and within the warranty period, there is no "inspection" fee assessed to the customer.
